Hello...

30 years ago I played...alot! Not much since then, just screwed around with guitar. In the meantime, my daughter started playing guitar when she was 5, and is now a very good player at 13. So I decided to pick it back up to jam with her.

First mistake...bought a cheap acoustic bass and a bad amp. Guess what - I never touch it. Then I thought a little more about it, and decided that I should buy the bass I always wanted when I played. If I don't play it, I'll flip it, but I literally hated everything I picked up in the past year which I know contributed to my lack of interest. So now, I am eagerly awaiting....my new Rickenbacker 4003!

It was way more than I planned on spending, but I got a good deal on a mint condition previously owned bass that I could easily sell for the same price. In the meantime, I am really excited to get back to it!

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi...
