Hey, welcome to talkbass! I have no clue what you just said but I will try to specify...

A Bass Guitar is a 4 string guitar (electric or acoustic) that is usually played in modern music (rock, pop, jazz, etc.) and is the lower instrument

A guitar has 6 strings and is also used in modern music but has a higher range and is tuned differently

An upright bass is traditionally used for classical music and is an oversized cello that is played while standing. It has also been used for jazz and bluegrass in more recent years.

I know this is a very over simplified version and I don't really know if it answers your question... Never would have guessed you're new at this forum
