As far as I can see it looks ok. I would suggest checking the battery buss connection. When I installed my PJX set didn't work at first bcs the battery buss wasn't making a proper connection.
Thanks for the suggestion, buss seems OK though. Very strange, I checked the diagram about 20 times haha. I get some sound if I put the lead half way into the jack but as soon as the plug hits the second contact in the jack it just goes totally dead
Your tone pot is wired wrong - the instructions show REVERSING one of the connectors so that the arrow on the plug is NOT visible. In your image it looks like you did NOT do that. Check the image I copied from the EMG wiring PDF, and let us know if it works....
Strange when I installed my PJX set into my Jag special it had a active tone pot included in the kit. The X series pickups don't work with a passive tone control IIRC. So you'll need to get a active tone control from either EMG or a dealer.
Thanks for the suggestions, I emailed EMG support and even they are confused as to why this is not working haha. It must be something simple, I'll check through everything again..
