Help finding a black pickup cover, Jazz bass type but black?

Hi folks,

I am looking for a chrome ashtray/pickup cover (front pickup) but in black rather than chrome. It also needs to be the thinner type as used by Atelier-Z, possibly others. I have been in touch with Atelier-Z but thought I might try you lot too.

I'd buy a silver one and spray paint it black.

I bought a silver Atelier Z full size cover from Brian at thelowend.net. You might try to contact him and see if he can order one for you.

Yeah that is an option, but I have a feeling that if I can get one this width then I can get one in black too. Here's hoping!

The only black ones I know for sale are the normal Jazz Bass ones.

You can always take an existing one and modify it to however narrow you want it, then have a powercoater shoot it black for you.
