theyre both the same price but im not sure which to get... suggestions in the same price range are welcome, but please bare in mind only the basses shown on that website ;) aswell maybe you might not like the BC RICH's but i do so please aswell let me know which is best out of the two. PS i play metal, and im a guitarrist, dont know if that helps xD

Kinda figured by your screen name and choice in bass brands that you were a metal fellow.

I honestly can't tell much of a difference besides body composition, and never heard of Agathis. O'd say go with the first just because I can at least identify the body wood. Other than that, they seem more or less the same.

Then again, the second one has the classic warlock headstock, and looks less 'ripoff'.

I think agathis, is basswood, which isn't bad because every bass, regardless of the wood used will sound a little different. My advise.... Try a P bass first. Seriously good option for any sound you want.

The biggest difference, that I can see is the headstock.
Do you prefer pointy, or extra pointy? :D

The two body woods are agathis or basswood.
I think agathis is more common in parts of Asia, and basswood is more common in North America. Probably doesn't have any affect on the sound of the instrument.
