Help! Fretless or Acoustic?

Hey guys. Been looking at the Squier V.M. Fretless for a few weeks, and planning on buying it. Now I'm thinking I don't reelly NEED a fretless, I would just like to have one. I'm starting to think I would get more use out of a Michael Kelly Acoustic. What do you think?

They are very different tools for very different jobs. There's no way anyone but you can know which will be more useful to you. I'm betting you don't "need" either of them. So just get the one that you think you'll enjoy more.

I've just always loved the sound of fretless and wanted to learn to play it. Saw the Squier and read good things about it and figured this was my chance to get one. But, as I said, I think I would get far more use out of an acoustic.

I have a michael kelly firefly 4. I was also considering the michael kelly dragonfly when I got my acoustic...I ended up with the firefly mainly because it was cheaper. Ah well. It's good for practicing and not waking people up, as well as the occasional outdoor bonfire but it'd drive me crazy to use it for gigs or anything like that. I play with my fingers and it just hurts my wrist playing it like that, probably would be easier if I used a pick...ah well. It's also not very loud when it's not plugged in...again maybe if I used a pick....I'm actually looking to get a new fretless sometime soon.
