Help ID a Bass Guitar please

I was gifted an Ibanez Bass guitar which I intend to sell for a charity. There is no model number anywhere, just a serial number which is the country of origin. Any help would be very gratefully received. Also what price should I ask for when selling?

Starting from the fact that it is obviously a 6-string BTB, and according to the serial number that it was made in april 2002, it appears to be a BTB406QMTD.

Yup, that's it. They are 35" scale, this is an older example, probably from the mid 2000s. This is not the top o the line at the time, but wasn't the bottom either.

They tend to be well made and good, workable instruments. You are not a supporting member so appraisals are not permitted even though you have altruistic intentions. My advice is search BTBs on ebay, then use the filter to see sold listings only. This will give you a solid idea of what the market will bear at this point in time.

I think 406 is correct. 576 has a multi laminate body you can see from the front.

The 576 is also neck-through rather than bolt-on. Definitely a 406.
