Hello my fellow bass players, I have a Japanese Jazz bass, I can't figure out exactly what year and model it is. It's a killer bass and well built, but the serial number on the headstock, combined with the Made in Japan text would make it a 1986. But it was bought in 1997. I know the family that owned the bass. Maybe anyone knows this here on Talkbass?
