Help Identify This Ampeg Cab?

Its 410+115. Cant find any info on it. If anyone has a production year approximation that would be amazing as well.

You need to take better pics. What it looks like is an 8-10 cab that someone took the bottom four 10's out of, and put a piece of wood in to cover the holes and put a 15 in that. It also looks like it's been recovered in grey ozite. Ampeg did make a cab with four 10's and a 15, so maybe it's just the bad pic making me see things. The serial number might tell me when it was made, but I can't read it.

Looks like some one, did a mod to that cab, the 1540 ( I think thats the model # ? ) that Ampeg had, had the input jack set-up to where you could bi-amp the cabinet, the cabinet looks like a pre SLM

yes, without a doubt. and poorly done too. I wonder what that 15 is, it looks like a cheapie.

It's a bad Ampeg mod.

yeah, the 15 is an eminence that was put in afterwords... alright well I guess I might pass on buying this if its a mod.... thats probably why I couldnt find any info on it and didnt recognize it myself

SVT-1540 is a good cab, just not as popular as others so it was discoed.

Does this thing have rat fur on it too? Looks a little that way in the pic. Shame it got hacked. BOB

While yours is indeed a mod job, Ampeg did make that configuration cab in the 90s. It was labeled "Classic" on the grill cloth and was called a 1540HE on the back plate and was mated to the SVT 350H SS head, or at least mine was. Also had a horn in the middle of the cab. IMO, a really sweet rig. In fact, I've used mine as my main gig rig real frequently. Mine is Serial #1 from March 1995.

Yeah, the 1540 was a fine cab. Unfortunately, the cab in question isn't a 1540. It looks like a badly modded pre-SLM SVT 8-10.
