Help: Identify this PBass

Can you guys identify this Precision bass, whether it is a genuine Fender or not?
The number on the neckplate is "92987", number on the neck heel is "3-62"
So far I believe the bridge, pots and pickups are not original.

Why would someone go to all that effort of faking at old Fender and then not even bother to get tuners that even look remotely correct.

The owner is an old man, he doesn't even care if it's genuine or fake he bought it a long time ago. His son added the push-pull pot for the tone control.

It sounds okay but there's no way I'm payin' $500 for an unknown bass~!

I'm not buying that story at all.

The only thing that has even a REMOTE chance of being original 62 Fender is the neck plate, and I'm HIGHLY sceptical of that , given all the OBVIOUS (i.e. plain as day) non vintage Fender parts.

The neck plate is fake, the actual numbers look to big...the whole thing is quite suspect. I would walk from it...

EDIT: I should also add, I do not see the nail holes either, but it is hard to see much of anything in the pics even when they are fully zoomed.

MAybe they thought if they got the right tuners they would be wasting too much money on a very obvious fake!

The neck plate is the only part I though maybe original also!

Looks like someone put another Carlo Robelli in a wood chipper...

Did it survive a fire or something? This looks like the kind of relic job 14 year old boys do on 'ultimate-guitar'.
