I recently purchased a used Sadowsky ME and it has these strings already installed. I like the feel (smooth texture) and flexibility of these strings and want to purchase a fresh set of the same strings.
The B & E string are tapered and the ball ends are all the same brass color.
Any ideas where to start looking? I’ve done the usual searches, etc….. I get close but nothing that matches so far.

One brand I can think of that offers 5-string sets with taperwound B and E is SIT. And they do come with all brass ball ends.

Can you do something for me? Measure the B and E strings from where the ball end is seated to the taper (end of full winding) at the tuner end? Thanks.

Thank you. I’ll take a look at those!

I think I may have found them! Thoughts?

DR Long Neck Tapered

DR Long Necks are designed for thru-body and their taper at the ball end is 3", not 2" as seen in your pic.

EDIT: DR Long Necks are tapered on B, E and A as well. So, not the ones you have.

I meant the taper at the tuner end as in headstock. I need the info on the entire length of the string from the ball end to where the full winding ends at the other end.

The B string measures 37" from the ball to the headstock taper.
