Help Identifying Strings

Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased a new bass that came with some roundwound strings on it. I've tried to look up what strings they are but I need some help if possible!

The ball ends are (E to G) red, black, silver, gold

If anyone has any idea, please do let me know!

Red, black, silver gold? That's a new one...

Would you be able to post a couple of pics of those strings - one at the headstock and one at the bridge, including those ball ends?

The ball ends are (E to G) red, black, silver, gold...

Black-silver-gold for A-D-G are part of the Dunlop color scheme, while red for E is not.

SIT Foundations come with red ball ends for all four.

Dunlop Super Brights and SIT Foundations have similar design features and construction in that they both use thinner-than-average hex core for extra flexibility.

So, here's my wild guess...

The original E string from a Dunlop Super Bright set was replaced with the SIT Foundation E string.

Here is a picture of the ball ends at the bridge and the windings at the headstock. Any guesses?
