Help identifying this component (some type of pickup selector?)

I pulled this out of a custom bass I got used. I'm not sure what it is exactly, it's a five way rotary switch that switched pickups and what sounded like some phase options. I wanted a more traditional sound so I took it out and now have vol, vol, tone. Before it was this switch, vol, tone. It's a jazz bass BTW.

I contacted the builder and he said it was not installed by him. I don't know the previous owner as I bought it from a music store used.

The reason I'm asking is I'm wondering if it is worth selling, as it has been in a drawer for the last couple years. Hopefully someone will recognize it.

Looks like a 4 pole 5 position rotary switch to me you can get them for around 15 bucks new in a similar style.

It looks like a 4P5T (4-pole, 5-throw) rotary switch. These aren't exactly common, but like just about anything you can buy them out of china on ebay.

I doubt if anyone is going to want to buy a used rotary switch. They are inexpensive and readily available.
