Help identifying Tobias 6 String

I called a Guitar Center concerning their used stock
No picture but when I called he said it's Korean made
with serial number 0564501. He also said it's a teal colored bass. Any ideas? If it's quality this is probably my dream bass at a really decent price. Thanks

Without pictures, it sounds like a Tobias "Toby" bass. It is the least expensive of anything with the Tobias name on it. Some were ok, most were terrible. If it is in good shape, plays well, and for only a few hundred bucks, it would be a good deal.

I'd recommend something like a Warwick Corvette then, depending on your budget that is.

That looks pretty cool. I wouldn't judge it though until you can play it and see how it sounds for yourself. It may be a great bass!

The Toby Pros were decent basses. Very playable. With an electronics upgrade they're as good as basses costing $1000 more.
