Help identifying

Thank you. I kind of figured it was a les paul, but I wasn't sure about the other. What do you guys know about these, tone wise, and playability?

Right, it's important to note the difference between a regular Les Paul and the "Recording" version, which had a low-impedance output and different onboard wiring.

TBH they look better than they sound or play IMO. Really nice craftsmanship, but heavy, ergonomically awkward, and not as good sounding as you'd hope from the looks, vintage pedigree, and brand.

Maybe they aren't all as "meh" as the ones I've tried, and maybe the playability suits some people just fine, but I'd say that is definitely one bass to try before buying.
