Help! I'm being attacked by amps!

I need some feedback.

And quickly, before I move on, wth is GAS?

I've got 300$. I NEED a new amp. Sooner=better but not that important. I make 10$ a week on average, but seeing as this is my FIRST rig (it's like a house, I'm so excited/nervous :P ), I don't need anything TOO awesome.

If I wasn't such a tone Nazi (audiophile), I'd be cool with a berringer, from my experience they're OKAY, but alas, I need some beauty. I don't have money, either.
I've narrowed my choices down to the following four. Keep in mind that I need to be heard over a drummer (12 piece kit), two guitarrists (one thru a peavey 110, one thru a line 6 115, 15" for guitar? Don't ask...), two synths (one player) pumped thru a 600 watt pa system, and a female vocalist (mentioning bc she has little low end) pushed thru the same pa.

So here they are!:

1) buy an ampeg 115 used for like 300$~, then buy a tube preamp and use it instead of the ampeg pre
2) save a bit more and find a hartke head on craigslist and then a cab (210, 410)
3) build my own amp (I have /some/ experience, access to ALL the tools and people who can use them/would like to help). I'd like it to be tube... Maybe hybrid?
4) other thing y'all suggest.

I play alternative rock/electronica. Kinda a mix between Matt and Kim, paramore, and Travis barker (and my singer is named Haley, too :D! ). I play a pretty chill bass line, and I REALLY wanna start building my own effects and experimenting :D.

Thanks in advance!

Buy the guitarist a real guitar amp, and take his bass amp...everyone wins.

For $300, you are probably looking at a used combo. If I had to do it all over again, I would look for a used GK400RB (III or IV probably), and mate it up with whatever cab you can afford. The cab can be replaced, but the 400RB is an excellent amp for the money and will last you a long time. Try to run it with a 4 ohm cab, or 2 8 ohm cabs to get the most power out of it. I know that this is your first rig, but you can do just about any gig with a 400RB and a decent cab.
