Hello i'm 14, im playing bass now for nearly 2 years, i practice 2 hours a day blahblahblah, to the point, im LEFTY (YES LEFTY Sad ) and im looking for a new bass, i now really like fender basses, i played a righty :p jazz bass today.
i really like to play metal/rock and what LEFTY fender/squier bass should be best for playing metal/rock??? plz reply :p:p

Any lefty bass Fender makes will suit those styles, and any style. Just make sure you put on new strings and spend a little money on a good setup from your local tech.

You have plenty to choose from, from the Squier P-Bass Special, to the Standard Series Jazz basses (Mexico), to the American Standard Series. Can't go wrong with either, just find one that fits your budget. And as you get better and save more money, you can easily upgrade to better pickups or hardware.

of course you can. in fact, you can do whatever you want with whatever instrument you want. remember, it's just a slab of wood with metal strings stretched across it.

also, this forum may help you out:

Fender STINKS when it comes to offer some options for leftys - there's only one choice of fretboard and one choice of body wood and two colours on the US modells ... that is so :spit:

I was lucky when I found a 78 Lefty blonde Jazz Bass some month ago :)
