This time next year I will be Graduating, God willing, from Colege at the ripe "old" age of 40.

I am an electric bassist but have spent a fair amount of time, as a requirement, playing double bass.

After school I would like to maintain those chops without having to maintain an acoustic bass.

My wife is spearheaded the grad gift campaign (you know, soliciting all of the family members to chip in)

I've been looking at the yamaha svb100 and 200

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Thank you in advance!
