So, the instructions seem pretty simple, but I’ve got some extra wires here. Each pickup has three small wires, plus a larger ground wire coming off of it. Directions only mention 2 pickup wires going to the balance pot. Is the third wire an extra ground? Looked like the were going to the same spot on the original pre-amp. Is the white wire hot/signal? Also this bass has a lot of ground wires in it. Each pickup, bridge, and cavity wall. Should I try to get these all to the volume pot like the instructions say to do with the bridge ground? 98895091-4C2C-45D5-9270-6224F1B7D288.jpeg A66F1A39-1563-4CDA-B57F-AB0FF0C809F4.jpeg

  2. I'm only seeing 2 wires and a bare ground in the photo.

I'd have white as hot for the neck pickup and pair red/bare as ground. For the Bridge pickup try red as hot and pair white/bare for ground. If you feel there isn't enough room for 4 grounds going to the middle contact of the PCB terminal block, join them and run a single wire to the terminal block.

This just leaves your bridge ground to solder back of a pot,put your cavity ground there too.

You're right, I was referring to the bare ground as a third wire. Hoping to wrap this up today...
