Help... Make/Model/Year of Bass

I recently got my first bass back after 20 years or so and I have no idea the make/model or year. There is no name on the guitar. I do know it was made in Korea and the serial number is 9106589. From what I can remember this was a fairly inexpensive bass purchased somewhere around 90-92. I have tried searching on the web but can not find anything out.

Any info would be great!

Yeah, its been sitting for a few years. Still works but still replacing everything. More nostalgia than anything.

I reckon it might be a Gremlin, to judge by the bridge and the knob/jack positioning.

That headstock almost looks like a Jackson or Charvel, but it's hard to tell at that angle.

I A/B'd it against some Charvel and Jackson headstocks and the angle is way more drastic on yours. cdef might be right about it being a Gremlin.

Thanks! It does resemble a Jackson. Weird that there is no markings or anything on it besides the "made in korea" and the model number behind the neck plate.

Based on the el cheapo tuners and bridge, I'd say it was a uber cheap copy of your typical pointy headstock Charvel, Jackson, what have you, bass form the 80s.

Blech.

But - cool to grab your original bass, I can't blame you for wanting to do that.

Yeah, my mom got it for me when I was 11 or 12. Probably from a Sears catalog or something. Im sure it was pretty cheap. Its pretty cool having it back. Brings back a lot of memories from covering everything from Garth Brooks to Metallica.

Tuners, bridge and the electronics cavity point to Hondo or Arbor from that decade? I wish I could find my first bass just for nostalgia sake, a black Arbor Explorer bass.
