Right. Back in the old days, when bass compressors were made of ruins forged in lava (2007) bass compression was very limited and expensive - Demeter, EBS, Maxon, and a few others ruled the roost. Nowadays more companies have seen the benefits compression can bring bass and have produced quality compressors by the bushels. The EBS isn't bad, per say, but there are much better options out now than there were in years past.

To quote bongo, "we're living in the golden age of bass compression."

Also, I less than three my MXR M87, but if I had to get another I'd go with FEA or Diamond.

I've had a lot of pedal compressors and I think I may go for a Cali76 Tx.
