Help me decide which Fender Jazz to buy?

This is a dumb aesthetics post...but I just simply can't decide between these two basses. Black or white? Essentially, they are the same bass. I play weddings and events, funk and dance bar gigs, some bass-for-hire and session work. We use LED stage lights for every event...lots of blue, magenta, reds...the usual.

I polled all my friends and it was a tie. Thoughts?

Lots of colors and finishes look good in normal light... the store, the house, the yard...
But for a dark club with colored flashing lights, give me a white bass every time.

Now if the black had the white-pearl inlays... that'd be my ultimate choice

I like white too for the same reasons mentioned above. Plus it doesn't show scratches, etc. as bad.

What's the weight of the two basses?

I would suggest you get some "odd" friends, then a vote can't be tied. Personal preference for me...WHITE.

Seriously though…normally I'd so go with the black bass. That's just my personal taste. However, the white one would look quite festive at your paid events, especially "white weddings". You could even snazz it up with a new pickguard of…I dunno, whatever strikes your fancy.

I purchased a white jazz a month ago, its very elegant. Black basses are boring!
