Help me guys - Rewiring Modern Player Tele Bass

Hello guys, i beg you for some help here

Some months ago I sent my bass to a tech for a rewiring. My idea was to have new volume and tone pots installed and to add two dpdt switches for a series/parallel/split switch for each pickup. When the tech gave it back to me he had changed the pots but the wiring was not the one I asked for. He added three switches to the bass, one for the neck humbucker parallel/off/split, one for the bridge humbucker parallel/off/split and an extra one which activates the upper coil of the neck pickup and the lower coil of the bridge pickups, and the other two positions do nothing at all!

So i wanted to wire it the way I wanted, but i'm a novice in here, I have the tools, but I don't know where to connect each switch cable to make it the way I originally wanted it to be. Can any of you guys please give a wiring diagram for it? I beg you, guys Besides, what can I do with the third switch? Any ideas?

The third switch could be used for all sorts of things. Master series/parallel, killswitch, tone capacitor selection, bass-cut, etc.

Is there any easier way? I mean, explained easier hahahaha can´t really understand that, I'm comparing the current wiring on my bass with those diagrams and they don't really match, they are 4-wire humbuckers, two go to the pots and two go to the switch.

Your current wiring is not for series/single coil/parallel switching.

So, with series/sc/parallel wiring all the wires would pass first through the switches and then to the pots?

I was thinking of using it as a bass cut or as a master series/parallel switch.

For a bass cut, you put a capacitor in series with the signal, and then use a switch to short the capacitor.

For master series/parallel, one wire from each pickup goes to the switch, and the switch either switches them together, or sends one to ground and the other to an input at a pot.

I'll go with the master series/parallel switch, I'll be using a DPDT on/off/on. Do I use any wire from each pickup? Or one from each coil?
