HELP ME I.D. THIS BASS

Hi, I can get my hands on this for under $100. The problem is..i have no idea what it is. It has a seymour duncan in the bridge, and a neck from another bass. My first thought was that it was an ibanez from the finish. Also I'm not 100% sure if thats an active/passive switch or some kind of rhythm/treble thing. Any thoughts?

That's a complete Duncan PJ set from the 90's. Picture doesn't help, but if everything is working fine 100 bucks is a steal because those pickups are quite nice.

Yeah, the seller sent them to my phone. I havent had a chance to look at it in person yet. I just really dont wanna be stuck with some mismatched frankenbass..unless I was creator haha..I guess I can always sand and paint the hideous blue headstock, assuming the neck fits well..I think thats a yamaha neck..but ive been wrong before.

That, and I like to know what kind of gear I own. Im a brand whore like that..

looks like an ibby soundgear??? pups are worth about that much alone if I recall...

That was my first impression since the body shape, and flashy top look very ibanez. The thing that's throwing me a bit is that it doesnt have that little diagonal cut out where the neck joins the body. That, and the bridge looks a little cheap to be a soundgear. Maybe they were different several years ago, but all the ones Ive come across have really heavy duty bridges. One more thing thats a little odd is that the the input is in a wierd spot to me. Arent they all either on the bottom of the body or in a diagonal slot? No?

I'll find out tomorrow, assuming it has something on the neckplate or numbers on the pots..but I like doing a little speculation/detective work.

I just found a picture of an Ibanez SR1500, and it looks like theyre in the same family..any thoughts on a model number?

Take a yardstick and measure from saddle to nut to make sure it's 34". Some people don't realize that you can't put a 24 fret neck on a body that's made for a 21 or 22 fretter.

bassplayer- so youre saying that the necks a rogue?..it may be, but i dont see a headstock without a logo, or ay color other than black...thanks anyway.

Jedi- thanks for bringing that up. I'm sure ill notice if the intonations all wrecked to heck, or were you talking about some other issue im not aware of?...if theyre a terrible match, ill try to haggle haha.
