Help me identify this speaker, please

All frames do not share the same baffle cutout nor the same bolt hole pattern diameter. The driver data sheet has that information.

That about all I can think of they'd be talking about. OP, that means you might have to take a jigsaw and trim the hole a bit, or add a thin crescent shaped piece of wood to shrink it. May not have to either. If the bolt pattern doesn't line up, rotate the driver an inch or two and screw down into fresh wood. Minor modifications there. The driver datasheet will have the hole and bolt pattern measurements to compare with your cab if you want to check that first.

I hope the OP doen't mind if I post pics of a speaker I got recently, asking the same question.

This 12" came out of an old PA cab. There were 2 of these per cab, together with a tweeter. The guy I got it from told me it's an Eminence? I'm curious to know the exact type.

Anyone seen that before?

I don't think I've seen an eminence with a white frame, could always be wrong though. The whizzer cone narrows it down considerably. If there's a number tag on it that starts with 67, it's eminence. Email them those numbers and they'll tell you what they know about it. May take a day or two to get back to you, they're busy, but always helpful with stuff like that.

Thanks guys!
There's no numbers on that particular one, except the "8", which indicates the impedance, obviously. But I have two more of these speakers, so I'l check them for any stickers or stamps.

You're in Deutchland, I don't know if manufacturers over there use a similair system or not. Here, those tag numbers identify who made it. 67 = eminence, 137 = CTS, etc., there are many others, try google.
