I'd go for one of the brown leather plates. Light enough to match the headstock.
Good eye. Indeed it does. OP states in his header it is a parts bass. Jazz nut widths are popular on p basses for some. My first thought was it was the new limited edition BRG p bass with the 1/4# er , but it's not. Also the factory BRG version has a maple fretboard.
I predict the body & possibly neck came from STRATOSPHERE so the OP put together exactly what he wanted . End results look great, I like the guard on there but a lot of good options.
