Help me pick the pickguard for this P bass! (Poll)

I think the gold would look great, Especially if you swap out the Bridge for a Gold one As well as maybe Black Knobs. I did a green sparkle Jazz bass with a Black Guard and Control Plate and swapped the bridge and Knobs for gold ones.

I rarely like white PG's, But because of the neck you have on it with the cream dots. I would say leave it alone.
Now an always nice looking and safe change would be a 3ply Black. Never really can go wrong with that.
Just my 1-1/2 cents.

The white gives a nice contrast to the other colors and makes it look sharp. I would leave it white.

Good eye. Indeed it does. OP states in his header it is a parts bass. Jazz nut widths are popular on p basses for some. My first thought was it was the new limited edition BRG p bass with the 1/4# er , but it’s not. Also the factory BRG version has a maple fretboard.

I predict the body & possibly neck came from STRATOSPHERE so the OP put together exactly what he wanted . End results look great, I like the guard on there but a lot of good options.

I would leave it as is but add a tugbar and holes for a pickup and bridge cover. Closer visually to a custom colour '60s bass.

Gold is a little challenging to find 13 hole instead of 10 hole that they normally come in.
