Help me pimp my bass?

whew - tough to answer w/o more info as to what you're looking for sonically. I did just put some bartolinis in a squier p-bass special (p/j combo) and I'm totally happy with them. Also don't forget to replace the pots and capacitor - heres a link where I bought my pots/wiring kit

Call Lindy Fralin and get a 10% overwind, to get more low mids/upper bass without losing a significant amount of highs or starting to sound "hard." Pair it with real CTS full 250Kohm pots (they have as much as a 20% tolerance, so make sure they are right on the money) and a .047 tone cap. Use a real switchcraft jack and cord plugs into a good cable.
Make sure the bridge is secure and intonated properly.

I am doing a rebuild on a '09 MiM J. I am doing a complete electrical swap. What do you mean by the 250k pots being "on the money"?
