That B clip sounds really friggin good. I could tell C was the 'stang due to its hollow guitar trying to sound like a bass like tone. At least, thats what I think of when I hear that pickup config.

They're out there. Ibanez, Hamer, Rondo/SX all have lefty short scales. I'm sure there are others.
