Double Bass Help my strings are buzzin..

i am a very new double bassist (i play for a couple of months) and just a few days ago my upright bass (thomann kontrabass 22 3/4) started buzzing especially when i play the G and the D. Its funny because it only rings when i adjust the endpin to my height. when the endpin is in the initial position (the bass is in the lowest position) the buzz stops. i have no clue of what to do and i'm about to go to to a specialized person but its a bit difficult to fit my upright bass in my little opel corsa so i would appreciate some advice. thank u

It sounds like your endpin might the source. Try really tightening down the screw when extending the endpin and see if that helps.

Do you have the endpin set really high or really low? If you have too much endpin rod in the instrument, sometimes it can buzz. The solution there is to cut the endpin to a smaller length..
