Help: Need an Amp

I am no longer playing in a band so I just sold my 73' SVT rig along with the 810 cabinet. This was my very first amp and I never really looked at anything else so your advice is greatly appreciated.

I would like an amp that I can play recreationally but if I get back into playing small gigs still has enough power to be heard over a couple guitars. It may sit for a weeks at a time without being played so I don't want to worry about that. I'm not opposed to a combo if it has enough power and I have virtually new Ampeg 1-15 and 2-10 cabinets I can use or trade in if need be.

I play mostly Rock/Punk and I'm far from a virtuoso with no aspirations of becoming big time but I have developed a decent ear over the short time I've been playing and been spoiled rotten by my last rig.

Bottom Line: Want a smallish, low maintenance, decent powered replacement for what I had. I have no idea where to start so I really appreciate your help.

Get yourself a Mesa Walkabout Scout 12, and keep your 2 Ampeg cabs. Use the Scout like you would any combo amp, pull the head and use those big cabs if you ever join another band. Personally, I would've kept that SVT rig, you never know.

Thanks for the suggestion Ricken. I've done some reading and heard good things about the Walkabout. I've also read good things about the Makbass LMII and the Mesa 400. Any other recomendations would be great before I go out and play a bunch of stuff.

LMII fits your bill, there isn't really much reason for you not to go with one. Apart from maybe a GB Shuttle 3.0/6.0

I was going to get a Thunderfunk TFB750-A, and still might when I see a good used one for sale at a decent price. The man himself recommended I go bigger rather than smaller.
I'm more into vintage though, and your amp fit the bill nicely, thank you very much.

THERE SHE BLOWS!
Just jamming it now, and it's working well.
Doing a little re-arrange, and had a perfect dolly in my back room that I use for root balled Christmas trees.
Sure makes moving it around much easier.

Ah very nice! I'm sure she'll be much happier there than sitting in my basement. Now I just need to get a replacement.
