Help, need info on vintage Gibson cab

Ok so i have a 1974 Gibson 800-2 2x15 cab that has two ( what i think are preamp) knobs in the front, to the right of the speakers. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these. Also it still works.

Cool cab. Are there tweeters? I would think the knobs would just be a tweeter control but I honestly have no idea. What effect do they have on the sound when you turn them?

They do have a tweeter, its inside the bottom 15. As far as the knobs go, i have turned them but i dont hear any difference, so either they dont function anymore or not well enough to make a difference.

It's a powered cab, needs an external preamp to driver the internal power amp. If it now works like a normal cab it may have been rewired to do so?
