Help! Need live rig advice asap

So- I don't have a proper amp with me and scored a regular gig at a small bar. My old drummer was the most killin' sound guy and always set me up. Yes, I realize this is embarrassing, but fate has bit me in the rear and it's time to grow up. This is what I've got available to me at the moment:

Ampeg SCR di
Radial bassbone v2
Yorkville bassmate 200
My trusty Fender Jazz

Note: the bar has a half decent Yorkville PA

I'm looking at getting a GK MB 500 and some sort of 410 cab, but, I should mention I live in Canada's arctic, and it's going to take a while! So.... please help me sound good?

Your amp would probably be fine in a small bar if the rest of the band was under control. I'd buy a mic cable just in case, then if you couldn't keep up volume wise, tap into the PA from the amp’s XLR out. I'd did it this way for many moons, just for a little extra boost.

I play many gigs with just my Ampeg SCR-DI. It's a quality pedal. If the PA is decent and you can plug right into that you don't "need" a bigger amp.

Go bass into the ampeg and then from the ampeg use the XLR out to go to the FOH and he 1/4 to go to your amp for your own stage monitor purposes.

You'll be fine.

So, would you set the amp dials to 12 oclock and shape with the DI?

On the gigs that I use my SCR-DI, yes.
I'll also gig with an SVT7Pro, which I basically set flat and let FOH mix the DI feed. I'll tweak with my active 5-str where needed, but I mostly play it in passive mode.
