Hello everyone. so i apologize in advance but the mental mania ensues when it gets to these decisions. Ok, I have 2 P basses with the older dipswitch active APB1s and i they called for a 10k pot for volume and 250 for tone w a .06mfd cap but in the new APB1 they're calling for 100k on both tone and volume w a .05 cap. I wonder why the switch up and if this will change from the tone that the older ones had as I love these for their brighter tones. Has anyone experimented with something closer to the 250k/10k setup with their newer ones or if I were to what positive or negative attributes might i expect? Also what brand of pot would be best suited and linear or audio taper? arrrrg so much to learn yet...Hoping someone might have already messed around and found out!! Thanks for any help you may have.. Update:so ive looked... am i wrong or does seymour duncan not even have 100k pots for sale on their own site ?
