Help on Presonus Studio Tube & Allen & Heath....

Hello Guys....

i do have a Presonus Fire Studio Tube...& a friend of mine is selling me his Allen & Heath Zed420....coming from the direct outs of the A&H, is it possible to multitrack using the remaining 6 balanced TRS of the Presonus...say using the Presonus as A/D converter.. would it still be a solid A&H audio or a lesser one....im not much of a technical person, so thanks guys for the help...

Yeah, that'll work. Presonus converters, while nothing to gush over, will get the job done without degrading the signal to a noticeable degree. Working with just those 6 inputs might suck a bit, but the channels with preamps might have enough gain range to pad a line-level signal down. Give it a shot.

Thank you very much Nick...i'll try that one....
