Help pick the pickup!

I need your help pointing me to the right pickup. There are not many out there to fit the bill.

Here are the requirements:

*Music Man style
*five string bass
*ceramic
*the correct shape: with “ears”. MM pickups tend to come either as regular rectangles, or with the “ears”, two on one side, one on the other. I need the ears version.

Ears (correct): https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1...ps_MM4.2_MusicMan_Bass_1600x.jpg?v=1495755412
Rectangle (wrong): https://www.seymourduncan.com/wp-co...Music-Man-Bass-Pickup-amp-Preamp-11402-35.png

The desired sound: punchy in the mids, but I’ll work with what’s available. And it’s not much, apparently.

Not true at all. The Aguilar can work with any string spacing since it uses bars instead of pole pieces. Hence the name Dual Coil Bar, or DCB :)
With the DCB ones yes, with their other MM exposed pole piece style one's not so much - the issue is with OPs pickup what are the shell dimensions. I should've been more specific earlier, but I think those will be too wide still.

Well, those massive pole pieces are quite forgiving with string spacing. As long as the string is anywhere within the visual circle - and often even a bit outside of it - it'll work fine.
