Double Bass Help Reading Music

I'm going to be playing in my schools Jazz band and for tryouts we have to play "Doxy" by Sonny Rollins, I'm having a real hard time trying to play this song. Is there anyone out there who has played this song that can shed some light on how to play it?

The hard part is the rhythm on the bridge. Forget the notes at first, nail the rhythm first and the notes will come along alot easier. That song is one of those deceptively hard tunes that you can sound like ass if you don't get it just right.
