HELP! Roland PK-5A Setup Question.

I am looking into getting a Roland PK-5A, but know absolutely nothing about MIDI.

It has MIDI IN/MIDI THRU/MIDI OUT for jacks on the back.

How do I hook this up to either my amp or a separate amplifier? Or though a PA system.

Please enlighten me with your endless knowledge. Thanks

Looks like a MIDI controller only. You'd need a sound module or hook it up to your computer to trigger soft-synths.
