Couldn’t figure the right subforum for this Q.

30 years ago I had a song we studied while I was taking bass lessons. It was from a “real book” and I don’t know enough details to track it down.

what I remember is the song was called, or referred to as, “Catherine”. The bass part had a cool finger style part, slap part, and Latin groove in it. I’ve never heard a recording.

If anyone has any clues as to what this song might be, I’d love some hints. I can play a small part of it this weekend and record it if there’s no luck by then.
