Double Bass Help wanted: smallish combo recommendations?

I bought the MB150s! Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions, and Liam especially for the very detailed reply!

Ariel,

Don't overlook Yorkville products. I can't say enough about them.

I've owned an older version of this little 50 watt bass amp for almost eight years and have done countless gigs w/ it in that time.

It is one of the best sounding amps that I have ever owned and I own allot of high end stuff...Walter Woods, Acoustic Image, SWR, Polytone, Aguilar, Gallien Kruger etc. I've also never had any problem w/ it. This little sucker has the best tone for DB than any amp in it's size or even larger. It's only about $300 or so and they have a great 2 year "Even If You Break It" warranty on all they're stuff. I also own a PA system from Yorkville which I equally rave about. I've tried they're larger 200 watt 15" combo on the road and that was great too. They also make a 200 watt 2x10" config. Check it out. Good luck.
