Help,which Ampeg cab?

Hi, I'm prob gonna buy the Ampeg B2re but can't decide which cab to get. I'm a good musician but awful at physics so not too good with the whole ohms, underpower and overpower thing. Which cab would you recommend, the ampeg SVT 410 HLF or SVT 410 HE ? Or would anyone suggest a better cab to go with this head?
Cheers

Go for the SVT 410hlf. That cab is rated at 4 ohms and will allow your amp to run at 450watts straight into the speaker. Be careful with boosting the bass knob on this cab - the SVT410hlf puts out TONS of LOW END and will not require you to up the bass knob very high. The SVT410he, barely has enough low end on its own for the average 4 string bass.

As for all those tech specs, don't let them get you down! You can hurt a speaker from underpowering and overpowering. The main thing to do is to listen to your cab when you are messing with the amp. If the cab sounds like it is farting, or about to blow up, lower the bass content. If that does not fix it, lower the master volume.

With teh B2re and the SVT 410hlf, the rig will run at 4 ohms, so you cannot add another speaker to this setup.

Also, use a designated speaker wire for the connection between the amp and the speaker. I would suggest buying some Monster Cable speaker wire. Spend the money on something good so you can hear what your equipment and bass really sound like. Cheap cords will rob you of low end, high end, and signal strength. I used to own top of the line ProCo cables and then I compared them to Monster Cable - the Monster cable was WAY better. I honestly heard all the differences, better lows, stronger signal, clearer highs. . Monster costs more, but is definitely worth it.

Thanks dudes. That confirms what I was trying to think, nice one.I'll prob go for the HLF. I've also started looking at the ampeg pro 3. Any idea's on how reliable this amp head is? Take it,it would be fine through the HLF ?
Thanks again for your advice !!!
Cheers
