Help with a Jay Turser!

Good morning all.

I have been trying to find out what model Jay Turser Vintage Series Bass I have just to find out anything about the pickups as I found a set of pups I want to try. The ones I want to try has a bridge pickup is 6.4k output and neck pickup is 6.0k output. So I am just trying to find If thats better than the stock ones right now.

I got this bass about ten years ago for christmas. My mother had got it at a local music shop (here in Canada) no serial number or model number in the obvious places.

If the pickups still function there is a %99.99 chance they are better than what is in there now. Jay Turser is not a brand known for quality.

Yea they still work, for being 10 years old (assuming new when i got it) i have never had a problem. just want more growl. I was told that the vintage series guitars by JayTurser where supposedly exact replicas of some era fender bass. Based on that I had assumed they would be somewhat decent
