Help with bass choices

I've been playing bass for around 3 months now and have started learning slap. But the bass i currently own just doesnt have the tone in my opinion.

Does anyone have any recommendations(not sure if thats spelt right:confused:) on bass's that are good for slap but at the same time would be good for metal songs?

This caught my eye and have heard good things.

Any other suggestions or agree?

Hi if you want to do slap I would always recommend a Fender or Squire jazz bass. Fender has alot to pick from. 1.)The mexican 70's reissue is nice. 2.)The Squire vintage modified jazz is a good value for a new player like yourself. Fender/Squire has jazz basses at all price points.
