Help with my first rig!

I would definitely go used. Just a week and a half ago I saw an ampeg 4 10", 15", and a $1000 amp head. All for $600 that was $2400 new. Thats the same amp head Trujillo uses in metallica.
All full ampeg stack for $600. Just poke around craiglist ( if you can they do have some European cities).


Also I know it's not a rig, but ampegs combo amps have been dropping like crazy. S0 if 220 watts is enough their amps have dropped sometimes $400 in price.

I would recommend the

b200R- An amp with great tone (has a tube preamp and custom 15") that gets 220 watts $300 This thing can rock.

some of their other amps have dropped in price too but they are not as good.

I just completed a rig on a budget this week.

I bought a used Kustom Groove 1200 head from a fellow TBer (thanks, Clint) for $350 and an SWR 410 cab via my local Craigslist for $300. add in $20 for a Speakon adapter and a speaker cable and I'm good to go for the near future!!!

Even if used gear prices are somewhat higher where you live, it can be done!!
