Help with old active EMG wiring

Looking for EMG wiring tips. I built a custom bass and have a old EMG setup. 1 volume a BTC pot and pbass pickups. I designed my bass with a single 4 wire soapbar. So the question is,, is it any way possible to cut off the pbass set and only wire the soapbar into the Active EMG pots?
Thanks for any ideas or options

On the EMG page, it says the BTC will work with active or passive pickups. As long as your BTC is the same as the latest verion, that shouldn't be a problem. Invalid Link Removed

Usually the volume/tone controls are specific to EMG, but if you new pickup is active it probably would be okay.

What is the new pickup and what value pots does the manufacture recommend? If the EMGs are in the range of those values, you should be fine.

Honestly the pickup is a knockoff,Kimise I think? I got through amazon, had good reviews so I gave it a shot cause I wanted a single pickup. It has five wires, bare, green, white, red, black. I got it working and the BTC even works but there’s not much output. I’ve got a SVT4 with 8x10 and I’ve gotta crank it just to get a decent tone. Even then the volume pot has a weird spot rite in the middle. Makes the speakers jump when turning up or down. That’s was with the original EmG pot so I replaced it with another and it does the same thing. I’ll get a picture of the electronics so ya can see what I’ve got. Thanks for the reply and info
