Well, I finally got my Schroeder 1212R about 10 hours before the gig. Sounded like crap in my condo, but sounded really good on stage! It was definitely loud and I felt it sounded so much better at high volumes than at low volumes. Less compressed at high volumes and more forceful in the midrange - hard to explain, but it made my bass sound really focused. In the end, it did not do pick tones or my distortion tones too well. It did not have a that upper mid growl around 800hz to 3khz. Those frequencies were there, just sounded muffled.
I recently heard DNA speaker cabs and met David Nordschow....I think I am going for a DNS210. It has the upper mid growl, massive headroom, plenty of midrange, and the volume I need.
Thanks for all of the help guys.
