Help with string ID

    The red ones are D'Addario hellicore pizzicato strings. The blue one I don't know.

  3. The ones with the red and gold wraps are D'Addario Helicore Pizzicato, which are cheaper Spirocore copies.

    The one with the blue wrap looks like a Chinese shipping string.

    Cool thank you! I was expecting they were ALL chinese crap (I haven't mounted them yet). So I guess the red rings were added later by the former owner?
     
  5. My guess is that they replaced the stock strings with a full set of Helicores, one of the Helicores broke, and they replaced it with whatever they had or could buy cheaply.
