Help with X-Vive Guitar Wireless

So I have w purchased my second X-Vive unit and neither unit that I have will pickup audio from my guitar. I play a Kiesel Vader bass. The pickups are active. At rehearsal I had a guitar player with am ES335 try it to see if it was my guitar but his didn't work either. I know are cheap but I only need for one gig. I am going back to GC in Portsmouth NH to try to sort this out. Thoughts

I have a set of those. Are your units on the same channel? On mine, there are 4 channels to choose from. When you turn them on, the blue light on each unit will flash either once, twice, 3 times or 4 times. Both have to be on the same channel to work. So if you're using channel 2, each unit should flash twice to show they're each on channel 2. If they're flashing a different number of times, they're not on the same channel. Just click the silver button til they're the same. Hope that helps.

I got a NUX dud like that. Just dead out of the box. Cheap, but come on…a little QC, folks! Full refund.

3 other cheap wireless have been okay, if a little “iffy” with active basses. I buy nice basses and then put them through these: so I’m not
that smart, I guess.
