I'm not sure where to post this, so here it is under misc. I live in NYC and have suffered a serious wrist injury requiring surgery. The pins come out in a couple of weeks, and I'm gonna need OT. My wrist surgeon doesn't know any therapists who specialize in musicians, and, surprisingly, a Google search doesn't turn up anything. Anyone ever been in this boat have any helpful info?

When I screwed up my finger my doctor sent me to a guy who specialized in sports injuries. Maybe that approach would work for you too.
Call the New School, Juliard and the NY Symphony Orchestra.
Ask them if they can ask around and recommend anyone that they trust.
If you're honest and polite, someone there will empathize with your plight and recommend someone who helps professional musicians with OT.
Good luck, and chin up. Takes a long time, but the body is pretty cool about healing if you treat it right. Be patient.
I had to get past 2 or 3 "sports" docs to get to a physical therapist who actually helped.
