Hello,
My name is Pat. I would like to know.. what is the name of the bass whos cutaway goes all the way to the end of the fretboard, on both sides? I am asking because i am going crazy trying to find the right bass for me. I grew up playing upright, so having my thumb behind the fretboard as an anchor is imperitave, appearantly. Ive been playing electric for a few years now because of an injury to my left arm that prevents me from being able to handle the action and string tension on an upright. and i actually prefer the neck of an electric, because i grew up playing guitar as well....
My plan is to give it a short endpin and some ergonomical modifications in the back which would allow me to play it while sitting in a meditation pose. I know.
Thanks
PAt
